বাংলা ক্রিয়া ‘ছোঁয়া/ছোঁয়া’ (স্পর্শ করা) থেকে ‘ছুঁবে’ ভবিষ্যৎকালের রূপ; ‘ছোঁয়া’ শব্দটি সংস্কৃত ‘স্পর্শ’ ধারণার সঙ্গে অর্থগতভাবে সাযুজ্যপূর্ণ এবং প্রাকৃত/দেশজ ধ্বনিগত বিকাশের মাধ্যমে বাংলায় প্রচলিত
