Origin & History
From Latin transmigratio (“a removal from one place to another”), from trans- (“across”) + migrare (“to move, migrate”); later used in philosophy/theology for the soul’s passage into another body.
লাতিন transmigratio (‘এক স্থান থেকে অন্য স্থানে স্থানান্তর’) থেকে উদ্ভূত; trans- (‘পার হয়ে/অপর পাশে’) + migrare (‘সরানো/অভিবাসন করা’) থেকে গঠিত। পরবর্তীতে দর্শন ও ধর্মতত্ত্বে আত্মার অন্য দেহে গমনের অর্থে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Definition
Transmigrations refers to multiple instances of transmigration—especially the belief that a soul moves from one body to another after death (reincarnation), or more generally repeated movements from one place/state to another.
Transmigrations বলতে ট্রান্সমাইগ্রেশন-এর একাধিক ঘটনা বোঝায়—বিশেষ করে এমন বিশ্বাস যে মৃত্যুর পর আত্মা এক দেহ থেকে অন্য দেহে গমন করে (পুনর্জন্ম), অথবা আরও সাধারণভাবে এক অবস্থা/স্থান থেকে অন্য অবস্থায়/স্থানে বারবার স্থানান্তর।
