Definition
In rhetoric, ploce is the repetition of a word or phrase within a passage (often with intervening words) to intensify meaning, create emphasis, or achieve a particular stylistic rhythm.
अलंकार/वक्तृता-शास्त्र में ‘प्लोसी’ वह शैली है जिसमें किसी अनुच्छेद/वाक्यांश के भीतर किसी शब्द या पदबंध की पुनरावृत्ति (अक्सर बीच में अन्य शब्द आकर) अर्थ को तीव्र करने, ज़ोर देने या विशेष लय/शैली पैदा करने के लिए की जाती है।
