Definition
“Hypothecated” describes something (often an asset) pledged as collateral for a loan, or money/revenue (often a tax) earmarked for a specific expenditure.
“Hypothecated” का अर्थ है किसी वस्तु/संपत्ति को ऋण के बदले जमानत (कोलेटरल) के रूप में गिरवी रखना, या धन/राजस्व (अक्सर किसी कर) को किसी खास खर्च के लिए अलग से आरक्षित/नियत करना।
