From the verb “autopsy” (earlier “autopsia”), ultimately from Greek “autopsia” meaning “seeing with one’s own eyes” (autos ‘self’ + opsis ‘sight’); “autopsied” is formed by adding -ed to “autopsy.”
यह क्रिया “autopsy” से बनी है (पहले “autopsia”); मूल रूप से यूनानी “autopsia” से, जिसका अर्थ है “अपने ही आँखों से देखना” (autos ‘स्वयं’ + opsis ‘दृष्टि’); “autopsied” शब्द “autopsy” में -ed जोड़कर बना है।
Definition
“Autopsied” means a dead body was medically examined (an autopsy/post-mortem was performed) to find the cause and manner of death and identify any disease or injury.
“Autopsied” का अर्थ है कि किसी मृत शरीर की चिकित्सकीय जाँच (ऑटोप्सी/पोस्टमॉर्टम) की गई ताकि मृत्यु का कारण और प्रकार पता चल सके तथा किसी बीमारी या चोट की पहचान हो सके।
