ট্যাবু (taboos) হলো এমন সামাজিক/সাংস্কৃতিক নিষেধাজ্ঞা বা শক্ত রীতি-নীতি, যা কিছু কাজ, কথা, বা বিষয়কে নিষিদ্ধ করে—কারণ নির্দিষ্ট সংস্কৃতিতে এগুলোকে পবিত্র, অপবিত্র, অনৈতিক, বা আপত্তিকর বলে ধরা হয়।
