Definition
Podagras are acute attacks of gout that typically cause sudden, intense pain, swelling, redness, and warmth in the foot—most often at the base of the big toe; the pain is due to uric acid crystal deposits in the joint.
पोडाग्रास गाउट (जोड़ों का एक प्रकार का रोग) के तीव्र दौरों को कहते हैं, जिनमें अचानक बहुत तेज़ दर्द, सूजन, लालिमा और गर्माहट होती है—अक्सर पैर में, विशेषकर बड़े पैर के अंगूठे के आधार वाले जोड़ में; यह दर्द जोड़ में यूरिक एसिड के क्रिस्टल जमा होने से होता है।
