Definition
“Pelting” commonly means repeatedly throwing things (stones, snowballs, bullets, etc.) at a target, or heavy rain/hail falling hard (“pelting down”). It can also mean hitting repeatedly or moving at high speed.
“Pelting” का सामान्य अर्थ है किसी पर/किसी चीज़ पर बार-बार वस्तुएँ (पत्थर, बर्फ़ के गोले, गोलियाँ आदि) फेंककर मारना, या बहुत तेज़ बारिश/ओले गिरना (“pelting down”). इसका अर्थ बार-बार पीटना/मारना या बहुत तेज़ी से चलना/दौड़ना भी हो सकता है।
