From nit (“louse egg”) + pick (“to pick out”), originally referring to picking nits from hair; later extended figuratively (mid-20th century) to mean finding tiny faults.
nit (“जूँ का अंडा”) + pick (“चुनना/निकालना”) से बना; मूल अर्थ बालों से जूँ के अंडे चुनना था, बाद में (20वीं सदी के मध्य) रूपक रूप में बहुत छोटी कमियाँ निकालने के अर्थ में प्रयोग होने लगा।

To nitpick means to focus on tiny details or minor mistakes and criticize them, often more than is reasonable, instead of paying attention to the main point.
निटपिक का मतलब है बहुत छोटी-छोटी बातों या मामूली गलतियों पर जरूरत से ज़्यादा ध्यान देकर उनकी आलोचना करना, बजाय इसके कि मुख्य बात पर ध्यान दिया जाए।
