From French moraliser (based on moral) + -ize; ultimately from Latin moralis (“moral”).

Definition
To interpret events or behavior in terms of right and wrong, often by giving advice or a sermon-like lesson; sometimes used critically for preaching.
किसी घटना/व्यवहार को नैतिक दृष्टि से देखकर उस पर सही-गलत की टिप्पणी करना, उपदेश देना या नैतिक शिक्षा निकालना; कई बार यह शब्द उपदेशात्मक/ताने वाले अर्थ में भी आता है।
