Definition
Keratoderma is a group of disorders in which the skin becomes unusually thick and hard due to excess keratin, commonly affecting the palms and soles; it may be inherited or acquired and can be associated with fissures, pain, or scaling.
केरेटोडर्मा विकारों का एक समूह है जिसमें केराटिन की अधिकता के कारण त्वचा असामान्य रूप से मोटी और कठोर हो जाती है, जो प्रायः हथेलियों और तलवों पर दिखाई देता है; यह वंशानुगत या अर्जित हो सकता है और इसमें दरारें, दर्द या पपड़ी/स्केलिंग हो सकती है।
