Definition
Kebab refers to pieces of meat (or vegetables) that are marinated and then grilled/roasted, commonly on a skewer; in many places it also means sliced roasted meat served in pita/naan with salad and sauces.
कबाब ऐसे पकवान को कहते हैं जिसमें मांस (या सब्ज़ियों) के टुकड़ों को मसाले/मेरिनेड में रखकर फिर भूनकर/सेककर बनाया जाता है, अक्सर सींक/सीख पर; कई जगह इसका अर्थ रोटी (पीटा/नान) में सलाद और सॉस के साथ परोसा जाने वाला काटा हुआ भुना मांस भी होता है।
