Flirt का अर्थ है किसी के प्रति हल्के-फुल्के, मज़ाकिया ढंग से आकर्षण दिखाना (बातों, मुस्कान, या छेड़छाड़ के जरिए), जो ज़रूरी नहीं कि गंभीर हो; यह किसी विचार, काम या जोखिम के साथ थोड़े समय के लिए/अस्थायी रूप से जुड़ने या उसे आज़माने के अर्थ में भी आता है।
