From the verb flirt (16th–17th century), originally meaning “to flick or dart about,” later “to toy with someone romantically”; flirty formed with the suffix -y.
यह verb “flirt” (16वीं–17वीं शताब्दी) से बना है, जिसका प्रारम्भिक अर्थ “झटके से हिलना/फुदकना” था; बाद में अर्थ “किसी के साथ प्रेम-भाव में छेड़छाड़/खेल करना” हो गया। “flirty” प्रत्यय -y जोड़कर बना।
Definition
Flirty describes someone’s playful, teasing, or light romantic behavior (smiles, compliments, teasing) that suggests attraction, often not meant seriously or as a firm commitment.
Flirty (फ्लर्टी) उस व्यवहार को कहते हैं जिसमें कोई व्यक्ति हल्के-फुल्के, चंचल/छेड़छाड़ भरे अंदाज़ में आकर्षण दिखाता है (जैसे मुस्कान, तारीफ़, मज़ाकिया छेड़ना), जो अक्सर गंभीर इरादा या पक्का वादा नहीं होता।
