Definition
Castles are strong, fortified buildings with thick walls, towers, and defensive features, built mainly in the Middle Ages for protection and as seats of power.
किले (कैसल) मजबूत, दुर्ग-निर्मित इमारतें होती हैं जिनमें मोटी दीवारें, बुर्ज/मीनारें और सुरक्षा की व्यवस्थाएँ होती हैं; इन्हें मुख्यतः मध्ययुग में रक्षा और सत्ता-केंद्र/निवास के रूप में बनाया गया था।
