Definition
A castle is a strong, fortified building with walls and defenses, historically used as a residence and military stronghold; in chess, it can mean the rook or the special king-and-rook move called castling.
कैसल एक मजबूत, किलेबंद इमारत होती है जिसमें दीवारें और रक्षा-व्यवस्थाएँ होती हैं; इतिहास में यह निवास और सैन्य गढ़ के रूप में प्रयुक्त होती थी। शतरंज में यह रूक (हाथी) या राजा‑रूक की विशेष चाल ‘कास्टलिंग’ के अर्थ में भी आता है।
