A type of measuring and marking compass with one or both legs shaped/extended (a projecting “bow”) so it can reach around edges or curved ship timbers and draw arcs or transfer measurements.
एक प्रकार का मापने‑और‑निशान लगाने वाला कंपास, जिसकी एक या दोनों टाँगें मुड़ी/लंबी (उभरी हुई “बो”) होती हैं, ताकि वह किनारों या जहाज़ की मुड़ी हुई लकड़ियों के आसपास पहुँचकर चाप (arc) खींच सके या माप स्थानांतरित कर सके।
