Definition
A biface is a stone artefact, typically a prehistoric hand axe, shaped by flaking (knapping) on both sides so it has two worked faces and a sharp edge.
बाइफेस एक पाषाण कलाकृति है—आमतौर पर प्रागैतिहासिक हस्त-कुल्हाड़ी—जिसे दोनों तरफ से कतरन/घिसाई (नैपिंग) करके तराशा जाता है, ताकि इसकी दो तराशी हुई सतहें और एक तीखी धार बन जाए।
