Formed from barbarise/barbarize (from Greek barbaros ‘foreign, non-Greek; later ‘barbarian’) + -ation, used to mean ‘to make barbarous’ and its resulting process.
यह barbarise/barbarize से बना है (ग्रीक barbaros ‘विदेशी/ग़ैर-यूनानी’, बाद में ‘बर्बर’ अर्थ) + -ation प्रत्यय; अर्थ है ‘बर्बर बनाना’ और उससे जुड़ी ‘प्रक्रिया/स्थिति’।

Barbarisation is the act or process by which a society, culture, behavior, or language becomes more brutal, crude, or less civilized; it can also mean introducing nonstandard or “barbarous” elements into a language.
Barbarisation वह प्रक्रिया है जिसमें समाज, संस्कृति, आचरण या भाषा अधिक क्रूर, असभ्य या कम सभ्य होती जाती है; यह भाषा में गैर-मानक या तथाकथित “असभ्य/बर्बर” तत्वों के प्रवेश को भी दर्शा सकता है।
