Definition
“Unmanning” refers to (1) castrating or removing male sexual capacity, (2) emotionally or physically stripping someone of courage, composure, or strength so they cannot cope, and (3) depriving a group, ship, or position of its men/personnel; as a noun it can mean the loss of ‘manly’ qualities, and as an adjective it describes something that causes such loss.
