Formed from transpiration + -ory; transpiration comes from Latin transpirare (“to breathe through; sweat”), from trans- (“through”) + spirare (“to breathe”).
‘ট্রান্সপিরেশন’ + ‘-ory’ প্রত্যয় থেকে গঠিত; ‘transpiration’ এসেছে লাতিন transpirare থেকে (অর্থ: ‘ভেদ করে শ্বাস নেওয়া; ঘাম ঝরা’), যেখানে trans- অর্থ ‘ভিতর দিয়ে/মাধ্যমে’ এবং spirare অর্থ ‘শ্বাস নেওয়া’।

Relating to transpiration—the process by which water is lost as vapour from plant stomata (and, more generally, from skin surfaces) and which helps drive water movement and cooling.
