Toadyism is the practice of behaving like a toady—overly flattering, obedient, and submissive to a powerful person to win favor or benefits, often at the expense of honesty or self-respect.
টোডিইজম হলো ‘তোডি’ বা তোষামোদকারীর মতো আচরণ করার অভ্যাস—ক্ষমতাবান ব্যক্তিকে খুশি করতে অতিরিক্ত প্রশংসা, আনুগত্য ও নতজানু ভঙ্গি দেখানো, যাতে সুবিধা বা অনুগ্রহ পাওয়া যায়; অনেক সময় এতে সততা বা আত্মসম্মান ক্ষুণ্ন হয়।
