Definition
Rifting means creating or widening a crack, split, or separation in something (literal or figurative), e.g., rocks rifting or a rift forming between groups; historically (now obsolete outside Scotland/northern Britain) it could also mean belching.
Rifting বলতে কোনো কিছুর মধ্যে ফাটল/চির ধরানো বা ফাঁক/বিচ্ছেদ সৃষ্টি বা বাড়ানো বোঝায় (আক্ষরিক বা রূপকভাবে), যেমন শিলায় চির ধরা বা দলগুলোর মধ্যে মতভেদ/বিচ্ছেদ সৃষ্টি; ইতিহাসগতভাবে (এখন স্কটল্যান্ড ও উত্তর ব্রিটেনের বাইরে প্রায় অপ্রচলিত) এর অর্থ ঢেকুর তোলাও হতে পারে।
