সাহিত্য, ভাষা, ইতিহাস বা দর্শনে কোনো বক্তব্য/গ্রন্থ/ঘটনাকে বিচ্ছিন্নভাবে নয়, বরং যে পরিস্থিতি, সময়, সংস্কৃতি, উদ্দেশ্য ও পাঠকের অবস্থান তাকে ঘিরে আছে—সেই প্রেক্ষাপটের আলোকে অর্থ নির্ধারণ ও ব্যাখ্যার দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি বা তত্ত্ব
