Formed from ‘অযথা’ (with the negative prefix ‘অ-’ meaning ‘not proper’) + ‘সময়’ (time) + the locative/adverbial suffix ‘-এ’, literally “not at the proper time.”
Definition
যখন কোনো কাজ, কথা, আগমন বা সিদ্ধান্ত যথাযথ সময়ে নয়—অর্থাৎ অনুপযুক্ত মুহূর্তে করা হয়—তাকে ‘অযথাসময়ে’ বলা হয়
When an action, remark, arrival, or decision happens not at the proper time—i.e., at an unsuitable moment (too early or too late)—it is called “অযথাসময়ে”.
