দুই হাতের তালু জোড় করে দেবতা/গুরু/বয়োজ্যেষ্ঠকে প্রণাম করা বা শ্রদ্ধাভরে ফুল-জল ইত্যাদি অর্ঘ্য নিবেদনকে ‘অঞ্জলি’ বলা হয়; কখনও তা ভক্তি ও বিনয়ের প্রতীকী ভঙ্গিকেও বোঝায়
‘অঞ্জলি’ refers to the act of joining both palms to salute or to offer a respectful oblation (such as flowers or water) to a deity/teacher/elder; it can also mean the symbolic gesture expressing devotion and humility
