‘মুখ’ (বক্তব্য/কথা বলার অঙ্গ) + বিশেষণসূচক প্রত্যয় ‘-রা’ থেকে গঠিত; অর্থ ‘মুখে/কথায় বেশি সক্রিয়’—অর্থাৎ বাচাল
Formed from মুখ (“mouth; speech”) plus the adjectival suffix -রা, yielding the sense “active with the mouth/speech,” i.e., talkative/glib
Definition
যে ব্যক্তি অতিরিক্ত কথা বলে বা সহজে মুখ খুলে, প্রায়ই তর্ক-তদন্তে/খুঁতখুঁতে কথায় জড়ায়—তাকে মুখরা বলা হয়; কখনও কখনও এটি ‘প্রগল্ভ’ বা ‘অতি বাচাল’ অর্থে নেতিবাচকভাবে ব্যবহৃত হয়
A person who talks a lot or speaks up readily, often getting into arguments or nitpicking talk—such a person is called মুখরা; it is sometimes used negatively to mean ‘overly talkative’ or ‘glib’
