Definition

আইনশৃঙ্খলা রক্ষাকারী সংস্থা বা আদালতের আদেশে অবৈধ, সন্দেহজনক বা মামলার প্রমাণ হিসেবে কোনো জিনিস/সম্পত্তি দখলে নিয়ে সরকারি বা আইনি হেফাজতে রাখাকে ‘জব্দ’ বলা হয়
