Definition
The throat is the part inside the neck through which food passes to the esophagus and air passes to the windpipe; by extension it can mean the neck area or a narrow opening like the throat of a bottle.
गला/कंठ गर्दन के अंदर का वह भाग है जहाँ से भोजन अन्ननलिका (ग्रासनली) में और हवा श्वासनली में जाती है; विस्तार से यह गर्दन के हिस्से या बोतल जैसी वस्तु के संकरे मुंह/ऊपरी भाग के लिए भी बोला जाता है।
