From late Middle English, from the idea of a stage scene; influenced by Italian 'scena' (stage scene) and ultimately from Latin 'scaena' and Greek 'skēnē' meaning 'stage, tent'.

Definition
Scenery refers (1) to the view of a place—especially natural features like mountains, rivers, forests, and landscapes—and (2) to stage scenery: backdrops, props, and set pieces used in theatre/film to create the impression of a location.
Scenery का अर्थ (1) किसी स्थान का दृश्य—विशेषकर प्रकृति के तत्व जैसे पहाड़, नदी, जंगल, परिदृश्य—और (2) रंगमंच/फ़िल्म की मंच-सज्जा: पृष्ठभूमि (backdrops), सामान (props) और सेट के हिस्से, जिनसे किसी जगह का आभास कराया जाता है।
