Definition
“Quits” most commonly means (1) he/she/it quits: to stop doing something, resign, or leave a place; and (2) (adjective/plural noun use) “be quits”: to be even—no one owes anything to the other. It also appears in “call it quits” meaning to stop or end an activity/relationship.
“Quits” का सामान्य उपयोग (1) he/she/it quits: किसी काम को छोड़ देना, नौकरी से इस्तीफ़ा देना, या किसी जगह से निकल जाना; और (2) “be quits”: हिसाब बराबर होना—किसी पर किसी का कोई कर्ज/उधार न रहना। यह “call it quits” में भी आता है, जिसका अर्थ है किसी काम/रिश्ते को समाप्त कर देना।
