Quiet comes from Middle English quiet(e), from Old French quiet, from Latin quies (rest, calm). Quietest is formed by adding the superlative suffix -est.
"quiet" मध्य अंग्रेज़ी quiet(e) से, जो पुरानी फ़्रेंच quiet से और वह लैटिन quies (विश्राम, शांति) से आया है। "quietest" बनाने के लिए superlative प्रत्यय "-est" जोड़ा जाता है।
