“Punk” most commonly refers to (1) the punk rock music style and the youth subculture associated with it (often marked by anti‑establishment attitudes, distinctive fashion, and DIY ethics). It can also mean (2) an informal insult for someone seen as worthless, cowardly, or troublesome, and (3) something judged to be poor or inferior in quality. Note: sense (2) can be derogatory/offensive depending on context.
