From New Latin polyadelphus, formed from poly- ‘many’ + Greek adelphos ‘brother’ (in botany, ‘in bundles’), referring to stamens united into several brotherhood-like groups.
यह न्यू लैटिन polyadelphus से बना है: poly- ‘अनेक/बहु’ + ग्रीक adelphos ‘भाई’; वनस्पति विज्ञान में इसका आशय ‘गुच्छों/समूहों में संयुक्त’ से है—अर्थात पुंकेसर कई अलग-अलग समूहों में जुड़े हों।

In botany, describing a flower whose stamens are fused by their filaments into three or more distinct bundles (adelphous groups).
