Pedunculation refers to the state, formation, or presence of a peduncle (a stalk) by which an organ, growth, or flower cluster is attached or supported; it is used in botany and in medical contexts for stalked lesions or masses.
पेडंकुलेशन का अर्थ है पेडंकल (डंठल/डंडी) का होना या बनना—अर्थात किसी अंग, वृद्धि, या पुष्प-समूह का डंठल जैसी संरचना द्वारा जुड़ा या सहारा दिया जाना; यह शब्द वनस्पति-विज्ञान और चिकित्सा में डंठलयुक्त गाँठ/पिंड जैसी संरचनाओं के लिए भी प्रयुक्त होता है।
