Definition
A peacekeeper is someone (or an organized force, such as UN troops) whose role is to maintain peace by preventing violence, separating opposing sides, enforcing agreements, or calming disputes.
पीसकीपर (शांति-रक्षक) वह व्यक्ति या संगठित बल (जैसे संयुक्त राष्ट्र की सेना) होता है जिसका काम शांति बनाए रखना होता है—हिंसा को रोकना, विरोधी पक्षों को अलग करना, समझौतों को लागू कराने में मदद करना, या झगड़े शांत कराना।
