Definition
An ossicle is a small bone; in humans, the term most commonly refers to the three tiny bones in the middle ear that transmit sound vibrations from the eardrum to the inner ear.
ऑसिकल (ossicle) बहुत छोटी हड्डी होती है; मनुष्यों में यह शब्द प्रायः मध्य कान की तीन छोटी हड्डियों (मैलियस, इन्कस, स्टेपीज़) के लिए प्रयोग होता है, जो कान के पर्दे से भीतरी कान तक ध्वनि कंपन पहुँचाती हैं।
