Definition
A mosaic is an image or decorative design created by setting many small pieces (called tesserae) of colored stone, glass, ceramic, or other materials into mortar; figuratively, it can mean a complex mixture of different elements forming a unified whole.
मोज़ेक एक चित्र या सजावटी डिज़ाइन है जो रंगीन पत्थर, काँच, सिरेमिक आदि के छोटे-छोटे टुकड़ों (टेसरे) को गारे/सीमेंट में जड़कर बनाया जाता है; रूपक रूप में इसका अर्थ कई भिन्न तत्वों के जटिल मिश्रण से बना एक समग्र रूप भी होता है।
