Definition
Malva refers primarily to plants in the genus Malva (mallows), known for their showy, five-petaled flowers and use in gardens and traditional herbal preparations; in some contexts it is also used for a pale purple color similar to mauve.
माल्वा मुख्यतः माल्वा (mallow) वंश के फूलदार पौधों को कहते हैं, जिनके आकर्षक पाँच पंखुड़ियों वाले फूल होते हैं और जिन्हें बागवानी तथा पारंपरिक औषधीय उपयोगों में लिया जाता है; कुछ संदर्भों में यह हल्के बैंगनी रंग (मॉव/माउव) के लिए भी प्रयुक्त होता है।
