From Middle English left + hand; used attributively to mean 'on the left side' and later 'for use with the left hand'.
मध्य अंग्रेज़ी के left + hand से; पहले 'बाएँ तरफ़' के अर्थ में विशेषण रूप में, बाद में 'बाएँ हाथ से उपयोग हेतु' के अर्थ में प्रयोग विकसित हुआ।

Used to describe something on the left side, meant to be operated with the left hand, or having an orientation opposite to the right-hand rule (e.g., a left-hand screw thread).
