Definition
Lateral describes something that is on the side or moves/extends sideways, not forward or upward; it can also mean relating to a side in anatomy, geometry, or thinking in an indirect, side-to-side way (e.g., lateral thinking).
Lateral का अर्थ है जो किसी चीज़ के किनारे पर हो या आगे/ऊपर की बजाय बगल (साइड) की दिशा में चले/फैला हो; यह शरीर-विज्ञान, ज्यामिति या अप्रत्यक्ष/नए ढंग से सोचने (जैसे lateral thinking) के संदर्भ में भी प्रयोग होता है।
