From Latin juxta (“next to”) + pose (from French poser “to place”); popularized in English in the 19th century.
लैटिन juxta (अर्थ: ‘बगल में/पास’) + pose (फ़्रेंच poser से, अर्थ: ‘रखना/स्थापित करना’) से; अंग्रेज़ी में 19वीं सदी में अधिक प्रचलित हुआ।
Definition
To put two or more things next to each other so their differences or similarities are easier to notice (often used in writing, art, or analysis).
किसी तुलना या विरोध (कॉन्ट्रास्ट) को स्पष्ट करने के लिए दो या अधिक चीज़ों को साथ-साथ/बगल में रखकर प्रस्तुत करना (अक्सर लेखन, कला या विश्लेषण में)।
