From Latin ineffābilis ‘unutterable’ (in- ‘not’ + effābilis ‘that can be spoken’, from effārī ‘speak out’), via Middle French/learned English usage.
लैटिन ineffābilis ‘अकथनीय/जिसे कहा न जा सके’ से (in- ‘नहीं’ + effābilis ‘जिसे बोला जा सके’, जो effārī ‘बोलना/उच्चारित करना’ से), मध्य फ्रेंच/विद्वत अंग्रेज़ी प्रयोग के माध्यम से।
Definition
Used for feelings, beauty, experiences, or sacred names that cannot be adequately put into words; in a second, rarer sense it can mean ‘not to be uttered’ because it is taboo or forbidden.
