From Latin ineffābilis (“unutterable”), from in- (“not”) + effābilis (“able to be spoken”), from effārī (“to speak out”); later formed as ineffability with the noun-forming suffix -ity.
लैटिन ineffābilis (अर्थ: “जो कहा न जा सके/अवर्णनीय”) से, जिसमें in- (“न/अभाव”) + effābilis (“कहा जा सकने योग्य”) शामिल हैं; यह effārī (“खुलकर बोलना/कह देना”) से जुड़ा है। बाद में -ity प्रत्यय से संज्ञा रूप ineffability बना।
Definition
Ineffability refers to something so profound, subtle, sacred, or overwhelming that language cannot fully capture or describe it.
Ineffability (अकथनीयता) उस गुण को कहते हैं जब कोई अनुभव, भावना या सत्य इतना गहन/सूक्ष्म/पावन या अत्यधिक होता है कि उसे शब्दों में ठीक तरह से व्यक्त करना संभव नहीं होता।
