Definition
A hysterometer is a measuring device used to determine hysteresis—i.e., the lag between an applied force/field and the response of a material—commonly by tracing a hysteresis loop (such as the B–H curve in magnetism).
हाइस्टेरोमीटर एक मापन यंत्र है जो हिस्टेरिसिस (अर्थात् लागू किए गए बल/क्षेत्र और पदार्थ की प्रतिक्रिया के बीच होने वाला विलंब/अंतर) को मापने के लिए उपयोग होता है, प्रायः हिस्टेरिसिस लूप (जैसे चुंबकत्व में B–H वक्र) को रिकॉर्ड/ट्रेस करके।
