Definition
Humification is the natural biological and chemical process in which dead plant and animal material breaks down and is converted into humus, improving soil structure and fertility.
ह्यूमिफिकेशन (ह्यूमीकरण) वह प्राकृतिक जैविक और रासायनिक प्रक्रिया है जिसमें मृत पौधों और जानवरों का जैव पदार्थ विघटित होकर ह्यूमस में बदल जाता है, जिससे मिट्टी की संरचना और उर्वरता में सुधार होता है।
