Definition
Hsingan is an older Romanized spelling used in English for the Hinggan/Khingan Mountains, a major range in northeastern China (Inner Mongolia and Heilongjiang) and near neighboring regions; it also appears in place names such as the Greater and Lesser Hinggan ranges.
