Definition
Half means one of two equal parts (1/2) of a whole, or something that is only partly complete/true; it can function as a noun (a half), adjective (half an hour), adverb (half asleep), verb (to half/halve), or preposition in time expressions (half past one).
Half का अर्थ किसी पूरे का दो समान (या लगभग समान) भागों में से एक भाग (1/2) होता है; इसका उपयोग आंशिक/अधूरा अर्थ देने के लिए भी होता है। यह संज्ञा (a half), विशेषण (half an hour), क्रिया-विशेषण (half asleep), क्रिया (to half/halve) तथा समय बताने में पूर्वसर्ग रूप में भी आता है (half past one).
