Definition
Habitual describes something that is repeated so often it becomes a settled habit or a usual pattern; it can describe actions (habitual lying), typical positions (habitual seat), or a person who regularly engages in a behavior (a habitual smoker). In grammar, it refers to forms expressing customary or usual actions.
'Habitual' उस चीज़/व्यवहार का वर्णन करता है जो इतनी बार दोहराया जाए कि वह आदत या सामान्य/रूढ़ पैटर्न बन जाए; यह क्रियाओं (आदतन झूठ बोलना), किसी का सामान्य स्थान/ढंग (अपनी आदतन सीट), या ऐसे व्यक्ति (आदतन धूम्रपान करने वाला) के लिए प्रयोग होता है जो नियमित रूप से वही व्यवहार करता हो। व्याकरण में यह ऐसे रूपों/निर्माणों के लिए आता है जो प्रायः/सामान्यतः होने वाली क्रिया व्यक्त करें।
