Definition
The foremast is the mast located toward the front (bow) of a sailing ship, typically carrying sails such as the foresail and supporting rigging used for handling and balancing the vessel.
फोरमास्ट जहाज़ के आगे (धनुष/प्रो) की ओर स्थित मस्तूल होता है, जिस पर प्रायः फोरसेल जैसी पालें लगती हैं और जहाज़ के संचालन व संतुलन के लिए रिगिंग को सहारा मिलता है।
